The FAHS Knights Baseball Team is enroute upstate to play in a State Baseball Playoff Game later this afternoon. The Fairfield Community Fire Company once again had the privilege of escorting the team through town this morning. This is only the second time a baseball team from Fairfield made it to the State playoffs. (The first time was in 1999 and they lost in the first bracket.)
We wish you the best, we're rooting for you and the entire community is proud of your accomplishments! We will be posting an update later today to let everyone know how the game went.
