Fallen Firefighters Weekend 2026 - Fairfield Community Fire Company

Early this morning, Fire Police from Company 2 assisted with parking vehicles at Ski Liberty Resort in Fairfield. Visitors were attending the Fallen Firefighters Ceremony being held in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The parking lot was busy and filled with people heading to the event.

At the same time, other members of Company 2 were stationed at the Boyle Road overpass at US 15. Each year, the department joins Fountaindale Fire Department to honor the families of the Fallen Firefighters recognized at the ceremony, taking their place at this overpass as a sign of respect.
