It’s Tuesday - Another Night of Drafting training

Every Tuesday night the Fairfield Community Fire Company has training for its members. For the past several weeks we’ve been drafting at several locations around Carroll Valley. If you’re not familiar with drafting, it’s a technique that enables firefighters to draw water from lakes, creeks, and streams for use during fire emergencies. The photos show the location and the gallons per minute (GPM) at each site.

The Fairfield Community Fire Company holds training sessions every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. Anyone interested in learning more or exploring volunteer opportunities is encouraged to visit and speak with a member.
