The Fairfield Knights Baseball team played a great game today in Freeland, Pa. Unfortunately The Knights fell to MMI Preparatory School with a final score of 13 - 12. The high scoring game was tied in the bottom of the seventh inning when an MMI Preparatory player singled scoring the winning run.

The FAHS Knights Baseball Team is enroute upstate to play in a State Baseball Playoff Game later this afternoon. The Fairfield Community Fire Company once again had the privilege of escorting the team through town this morning. This is only the second time a baseball team from Fairfield made it to the State playoffs. (The first time was in 1999 and they lost in the first bracket.)
