Every Tuesday night the Fairfield Community Fire Company has training for its members. For the past several weeks we’ve been drafting at several locations around Carroll Valley. If you’re not familiar with drafting, it’s a technique that enables firefighters to draw water from lakes, creeks, and streams for use during fire emergencies.
